Your Perfect Pokémon Legends: Z-A Mega Evolution Based on Your Astrological Sign

This comeback of Mega Evolutions in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has sparked widespread excitement across the community. Starting with the gradual unveiling of newcomers before the title's release, to trainers forming firm views on the full lineup of new Megas, there's a lot for enthusiasts to look forward to.

With many of the Super Forms showcasing unique appearances that highlight their personalities, one idea naturally: How can connect this with zodiac signs? The following is based on a mix of intuition, common zodiac traits, and personal experience.

Aries – Super Camerupt

To be truthful, Houndour's evolution was almost selected for Aries, as both are the Super Form and astrological sign that evoke the most fear. However, a Super Houndoom comes across as always angry, which doesn't match the Ram's energy, renowned for being playful, cheerful, and spontaneous. That's why the Ram far more akin to Mega Camerupt, which solely erupts when provoked. Stay on the friendly side of either and benefit from a strong partner; should you offend them, prepare to get burned.

Taurus – Super Heracross

Similar to a devoted Taurus, the steadfast Heracross, whether in its standard and Super Form, has assisted numerous trainers in Legends: Z-A. Though trustworthy, each the Pokémon and a Taurus are also battle-oriented, and – whether it's their trainer or a strong opinion – will stand up for their side to the end. What about Mega Heracross that reminds me most of my Taurus friends, though, is its unashamed love of snacks. Many past Pokédex entries note their craving for sweet sap and how it employs its horn to hoard it all, which is pure Bull-sign vibe.

Gemini – Mega Medicham

Observe this absolute royalty. You cannot tell me this creature is not the soul of every party, offering an endless stream of gossip to anyone who wish to hear. Much like an captivating, gregarious Gemini, it's incredibly easy to envision Mega Medicham mesmerizing an entire Wild Zone with their stories. Medicham’s official description also mentions its ability to predict an enemy’s future actions, which seems quite like a people-smart Gemini.

The Crab – Mega Manectric

The Crab is commonly regarded as the most emotional member of the astrological wheel, a intense symbol known for often getting wrapped up in their feelings. Per the official info, Super Evolution charges the Pokémon with a “tremendous amount of energy, but it's excessive for this Pokémon to fully manage,” which sounds a lot like a typical Cancer crash-out. It is also recognized for its capability to make a storm cloud over its very head – and if there’s one thing a Cancer is going to do, it’s rain on their good time.

Leo – Super Starmie

Well, did you think I was planning to select the lion Pokémon for the lion of the stars? Besides the fact that it would be far too obvious, The Lion is clearly Mega Starmie, the diva whose legs just became an internet sensation for being extremely fabulous (or terrifying, based on your taste). Players were captivated from the violet starfish, and that’s exactly the identical vibe a Lion brings to the table. This Pokémon is also said to be transmitting signals from its center out into the cosmos, and it’s typical of a Lion to be putting on a show, even if for aliens.

Virgo – Mega Victreebel

The ever-prepared and perpetually-anxious Maiden is perfectly represented in Mega Victreebel, the Mega with perpetual acid reflux. The sign famous for being charmingly judgmental is strongly reflected across this creature's entire evolutionary chain, from a always shocked face like a Maiden when you inform them you don’t have a 401(k), to its upside-down visage that’s similar to the emoji a Maiden sends to the chatroom when all says they want to “be spontaneous” rather than making a plan.

Libra – Mega Audino

Observe this gentle, empathetic creature, who employs the sensors on its auditory organs to detect how others are emotionally by their heartbeat. Always compassionate – sometimes to a fault – and striving to maintain the peace, there are numerous Scales who would likely benefit from Super Audino's skills. Though, to be frank, it would probably just make them worry more about everyone else.

The Scorpion – Super Banette

Banette is a creature with a unexpectedly tragic backstory: Abandoned as a toy, it gained sentient through pure resentment and vowed revenge on its former owner. According to the official info, Super Evolution, “increases its vindictiveness.” That sounds precisely like several conversations I’ve had with my intense Scorpion friends. A Scorpio adores karma and comeuppance, making them the ideal pair with Super Banette.

The Archer – Super Hawlucha

Each Super Hawlucha and Sagittarians are constantly putting on a show. As a Archer personally, the number of times I’ve referred to myself some variation of a “playful small entertainer” is countless. The most flamboyant and most obnoxious Super Form, its description even mentions how it “poses to show off its power.” I would do the very same thing if I had some kind of Mega evolved form, making Super Hawlucha the most apt Archer counterpart I can imagine.

Capricorn – Super Absol

Were you aware that a Super Absol has the power to foresee disasters ahead of time? That gives the exact same energy as a Goat, who tends to always think they’re right. Interestingly, much like a visionary Mega Absol, they often are. It’s also the very initial Super Form that players meet in Legends: Z-A – typical of a Goat to get in on the ground floor of the Super Form craze.

Aquarius – Mega Chandelure

Detached element Water Bearer is arguably the non-fire sign that is closest to a flame symbol – its counterpart is the Lion, and there are countless jokes about the Archer and Aquarius being unpredictable partners in crime. Mega Chandelure’s double Spirit/Flame category fits perfectly with this, and the Super Form's overall intimidating presence is also very Water Bearer. If you hadn't yet convinced, the Mega’s Pokédex entry says it “absorbs hatred and converts it into power.” If that fails to perfectly {encaps
